Mexican Bomb DiggY in Ponsonby

Last Thursday May 24th 2007 I tried the Mexican food for the second time at the Ponsonby International Food court and it was the BOMB DIGGY I ordered the Chicken Mole which is a traditional Mexican dish where the chicken is cooked casserole style in Chocolate and before you open your mouth and say “Yuk” …….“Just Shut Up” cause its not cooked in with a Mars Bar or something and Don’t forget the Mexicans came up with chocolate it was considered food of the gods yeah history lesson aside this dish is highly recommended by me.
So Next Time you there give the Mexican one a Try and the real added bonus the people that make it are actually Mexican and according to my Mexican mate , there food is about as authentic as you are going to get over here in The AK

Fatima's the perfect lunch

If you want to try soul food in Ponsonby Fatima's is the place,soul food as in its actually good for you and your soul.

Today , Me , Air and Yasin had lunch at Fatima's which is a wicked dope place specializing in middle eastern type food ,Air was wack and had a salad from next door which was 11 bucks squashed into a small plastic container, but me and Yasin being the ballas that we are had the soul food.

Yasin had the potato kofta with lamb chawarma which is this sort of pita bread type wrap which is filled with straight goodness of spiced lamb,lettuce,tomato relish and garlic sauce.

I had the Fattoush salad which is awesome ,spinach,lettuce,tabbouleh,marinated olives,fresh cucumber and tomato,garlic croutons with sundried tomato tapenade,tomato relish and minted yogurt and cucumber sauce and plus I had the Bananna Smoothie which is the best in town.

Funky Razors
